The most important thing that Justin has to say about himself is that his mother taught him to read at the tender age of two and encouraged him to keep reading by slapping the dramatic and colorful folios known as comic books in front of him. It was a successful plan that she regrets to this day.
After majoring in Political Science, English, and Philosophy at Howard University, he realized that all he wanted to do was write fiction, specifically comics. Taking his education into his own hands, he has subsequently acquired an apartment filled with book and comics, but it literally took an intervention (aka a birthday) on the part of his friends for him to get a TV and DVD player.
His influences are too numerous to name any without doing someone an injustice.
He lives in Los Angeles with his beautiful girlfriend and poorly organized collection of 25000 comic books. He HATES bananas and LOVES the Washington Redskins.
